2018 was a busy year for me and traveling. Somehow, I managed to get to 13 countries, and four of them several times over.
I went to Colombia, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, England, Argentina, Uruguay and Australia.
I have another great travel year planned. I plan on going to Georgia (not the state) Azerbaijan, Malta and I may go to several others as well. Italy is every year. This year, I already have three trips planned to Italy and I may go more than that.
So, you ask, how do I manage to do all this? Am I rich? No, I am not. I make a good living, but I am not rich. My work flies me all over the US and Canada - all the time - and I have been told I am the master of collecting points. And indeed I am. I have it down to a science. When a credit card is offered that will give me bonus points, I snatch it up. It is easy for me to spend the required amount for the bonus points precisely because of my business. In ten days in Australia, I stayed at all five-star hotels and it did not cost me a penny. I stayed on points. I paid for my ticket to get there and back, and food, and nothing else. My ex-girlfriend told me I should teach a class on how to get points. Hmmm. Maybe I should.
