According to the New York Times, Trump was told that Putin wanted the Afghanistan insurgency to target American soldiers, and to kill as many as possible. And what did Trump do? He is the president of the United States. He is obligated to uphold the constitution and to protect American citizens, the military, or not. Trump did nothing. Nothing. What a disgrace. If you do not believe that this is treason, then what do you believe? Oh, I know, all of you Trump supporters will not believe it and swear that he would never do anything like that. That will be your excuse or your explanation. Rubbish. And what about the Republicans in congress? They will support Trump up until their last dying breath. Why? Because they are traitors as well.
I hope that he loses the election on November 3rd and that Biden becomes president. We will then see a return to civility and common sense for all of us.

The tenets of our republic are endangered like never in our history. We live in a time where we are in the gravest danger from a man who is both reckless and dangerous. Trump has coddled with dictators the world over; his love of Putin, Erdogan, Kim Jong Il and Duterte should sound alarms for everyone living in the United States. Only his most ignorant and racist supporters will not see the urgency of this. I am simply aghast at his dereliction of duties as president of the United States. The Republicans in the House and in the Senate have abandoned the art of decency simply so to get re-elected. And the populace of the United States, be damned. Let’s hope Trump is impeached and convicted in the Senate and ends up in prison for the rest of his unnatural, worthless and miserable life.

I am astonished that anyone in their right mind could vote for this corrupt, inept, inarticulate moron. This man is all about lining his pockets and he does not care how many people go hungry while he does it. This so-called partial shutdown is a disgrace. While Trump keeps getting fatter and more disgusting, people are going hungry. People cannot pay their rent, or mortgages and may not be able to put food on the table. And please, don’t tell me it’s the Democrats that are doing this. Why didn’t Trump do this when he had complete control of both chambers of Congress? Why, because he needed to put this on the Democrats, that’s why.
There are only three reasons why someone would vote for Trump, and here they are: One, you are completely ignorant of history. Two, you are both a racist and a misogynist. Three, you are truly stupid. I cannot possibly think of another reason.
I fly often. I have great respect for the people who work hard to keep us safe in the air. And right now, they are not being paid? How much longer do you think this will go on before people start quitting in mass? Air traffic controllers are not being paid and a reduced work force could jeopardize our safety. TSA agents as well. I hope that trump will see his reckoning soon and that New York state will file charges against him and I would like nothing more to see him in prison stripes. Which is exactly where he belongs. And then that phony Christian VP Pence would be unable to pardon him. Remember the chant started by Michael Flynn at the Republican convention? Lock her up. How ironic that Flynn is now the one facing prison time. I hope Trump, Flynn and all his cronies end up in jail for a long time.

I want to set the record straight. There have been many criticisms of my ranting about the current state of our country. Make no mistake, there are many things I love about our country. I love the freedom we have to move around the world. I love how we can express ourselves without fear of repercussion. But if you think other countries don’t have that, then you are sadly mistaken.
But there are things I do not love. The way Congress works is abysmal. Most people don’t have a clue that Mitch Mc Connell and/or Paul Ryan can stop any legislation from coming to the floor for a vote. One individual has the power to stop legislation even if a majority of the elected representatives are in favor of it. That is not democracy.
I do not like the gun violence that is literally every day in America. I do not like the fact that we have no national health care system while congress has the best health care in the world. They take care of themselves and the rest of us be dammed. Education in this country is a joke and it is being played on our children.
And more than anything, I see the parallels between the fascist movement in Europe in the 1930’s and how it is playing out here. How we react and how we participate in the resistance is critical. Do not let Trump and his cronies fool you. He wants a dictatorship and he wants it right now and the Republican congress is letting him get away with it. They have turned their backs on the balance of power and have made a mockery of our legislative system.
I have enormous respect for conservatives who disagree with me when they have morals that substantiate their beliefs. John Kasich in Ohio is a perfect example. Even though we disagree on many political issues, he is a moral man. He has rallied against Trump from day one. George Will is another. He just left the Republican Party because he understands how they have abandoned every sacred conservative principal possible. They will stop at nothing for power and for greed. And people telling me I should leave if I don’t like this country is kindergarten bullshit. I choose to stay. This is my home. This is where I was raised. This is where my family and friends are. And I choose to work to make it a better place.
So my fellow Americans, we have a choice. We can turn our backs on tyranny and watch as families are torn apart or we can raise our voices and be heard. I choose the latter.

An apology to all of my international friends – and to the world at large.
Dear friends and fellow world citizens:
I want to apologize for America. We have lost any and all semblances of justice and fairness. We have capitulated to the forces of darkness in a way that I never thought possible. We have forced children into concentration camps where they are penned like animals awaiting God knows what fate. We have insulted our allies. We have made internal politics a sham and demonstrated to the world what an alleged democracy should never do.
Every single American, other than Native Americans, is an illegal alien in this country, me included. We came by the millions from the old world and invaded the new world. We raped, pillaged, plundered and murdered Native people and then set up laws to keep the people out that didn’t fit into our so-called bullshit Christian ethic.
Trump is not new to the political landscape of America. We have a long history of racism. Slavery is the greatest of all examples, but there are more. In the late 19th century, we Americans coined the phrase, Yellow Peril. Newspapers of the time condemned employers who hired "yellow" people while churches rallied against the new immigrants and stated that this is a land for white people; yellow people are not allowed. In 1882, Congress passed the Chinese Exclusion Act which prohibited immigration from China for the next ten years. Sound familiar? Ten years later, the law was extended by The Geary Act. It was the first Immigration Act to ever discriminate on the basis of race. In addition, it prevented the reunification of families throughout the United States. Sound familiar again?
So dear friends and fellow world citizens, I apologize to all of you. We have become a country of ugly, simple minded people who hate people based on their religion, their race and their lack of being white. I am ashamed of my country and I hope that change will come soon to stem this ugly flow of racism and hatred that we seem to have embraced.

This idea that the second amendment somehow makes America a freer country is beyond absurd. For starters, the framers of the constitution, (slave owning, land barons, and believers in their intellectual superiority) never intended for the second amendment to apply to individuals, it spoke of well-regulated militias. It reads, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
The United States has become a country where mass shootings are as common as waking up in the morning. Anyone who believes in American Exceptionalism is a fool or an idiot. I have traveled the world over, there are many countries that outshine America in so many ways. It was the Supreme Court that made the decision to allow just about anyone to keep and bear arms. Well-regulated militias be dammed. Also, keep in mind that the 2nd amendment was written more than 200 years ago. Do you really think they could have imagined AR-15’s?
I hate what America has become and I hate Donald Trump and his hate filled, inarticulate posturing with a passion. But I would never consider shooting or murdering anyone. Unless they harm my kids, then all bets are off.

The opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem is an insult to every single Palestinian . It says, we don’t give a shit about your claims to Palestine, we only care about Israel and the rest of you can go to hell. How many Palestinians have already been murdered by Israeli forces in this latest melee? Dozens, and it will get worse.
It is clear to me that Israel would do to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to the Jews in the 20th century if the world was not under such a giant microscope. They already are in concentration camps of a sort and they would be led into death chambers if the world was not paying attention.
I wish for social justice throughout the world. It does not matter to me if Nazis are killing Jews or if Jews are killing Palestinians, it is the same evil and it needs to stop. And as long as that scumbag in the White House continues his disgusting, racist and evil polices, it will never stop.
